Tacoma Bathroom Remodel

We remodeled three bathrooms on this Tacoma job. This is one of them.

We built this shower from the backer board out. The walls went up in USG Fiberock tile backerboard, the seams and corners were taped and waterproofed, and we framed in a recessed niche before any tile went on.

The walls are large-format black porcelain tile, run floor to ceiling, with the pattern carried across the curb. The shower floor is a hex mosaic in grey and black, with a darker border around a lighter field at the drain.

Outside the shower, a wall-hung vanity with a solid wood top and a black vessel sink.
